Take It Easy

I am a reader of blogs as well as a writer of them. One of my favorite blogs to read is Familiar Faces. It is a video blog done by Chad Rocco, focusing on minor characters of media (No I didn't copy Character Corner from that). One of the last ones he did was for the Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel Bunny. After watching it, I got the urge to write a post on that. So yes, I'm doing this post on a product commercial. But thankfully, the commercials for these candies were in cartoons. So thank goodness I got something suitable for writing about! Okay well, I'm actually not posting about the candy, more the mascot, and very soon you'll see why. No, don't be baffled by reading this. This is technically an awkward post, my second in fact (The first one being the Fifi Le Fume post). Why is it very odd? Well lets dive into it. Now, let me sum up the history of Cabury. It was a candy company that is still going today. They produced caramel goodies that make your mouth water. Now, these candies are only sold in Europe, so I'm going off description of taste. But what really got you wanting to buy these things, were the commercials. Here comes the Caramel Bunny. This bunny was just a low voiced, seductive female rabbit. She was played by Mariam Margolyes, the actor of Professor Sprout in Harry Potter. Caramel Bunny would go around handing out caramel to other animals, telling them to "take it easy." Now, your parents will tell you not to take things from strangers. Obviously these animals don't listen to their parents. Anyway, this bunny was as seductive as they come (But I still enjoy French accents). This bunny is still big in Britain, having another line of candy being made. And now look,a British newspaper named the Caramel Bunny the Number Three Sexiest Cartoon Character Ever, right below Jessica Rabbit and Betty Boop. Now, I'm not able to upload a video to this post (My computer's a jerk), but the commercials are on youtube. So, anyway, I don't really know how to score this, so I just won't. So, that's all for now. P.S. I told you this was an awkward post.
